Richard "Dickie" Reed
Richard has played Hammond organ and piano with Junior Walker & the All Stars, Otis Rush, Hubert Sumlin, Earl King, Duke Robillard, Ronnie Earl, Roomful of Blues, Mark Cutler, Neal Vitullo, The Ocean Mistics, and many other R&B, Blues and Rock & Roll artists. In the early 1990s, he became deaf, but was able to regain his hearing significantly in 2002. Some more details can be obtained here: cindydyer.wordpress.com.
Richard then returned to music and performing. As a member of The Schemers, he was inducted into the RI Music Hall of Fame in 2015. |
