Dave Palmer
Dave (*1968 in Denton, TX) began playing music professionally at the age of
seventeen. His diverse and fascinating career was sparked in the clubs of
Norfolk, Virginia and Dallas, Texas. He graduated from the University of North
Texas then set off to the west coast via Seattle and San Francisco which led
to the studio and concert landscape of Los Angeles.
He hass worked with a vast array of artists as a touring musician, pianist, keyboardist, producer, co-writer, musical director and arranger. This collection of employers is as diverse in style as it is impressive in its make up. Jasiah, Celeste, Dram, Patty Griffin, Portugal. The Man, Fiona Apple, Carly Rae Jepsen, Empire of the Sun, Chris Isaak, AIR, Seal, Turin Brakes, Twista, Joe Henry, De La Soul, Kanye West, Sawyer Fredericks, David Slade, Fleetwood Mac, M83, Draco Rosa, Madeleine Peyroux, Perla Batalla, T-Bone Burnett, Avenged Sevenfold, Missy Higgins, Sam Phillips, Bobby Previte, Wayne Horvitz, Solomon Burke, The Goo Goo Dolls, and Pink Sweats are just a few examples of his varied professional experience. Dave also had the honor of being Musical Director for the Beatles Tribute at the Hollywood Bowl. |
