Adam Klipple
Adam, pianist and keyboardist, has dedicated much of his musical life to mastering
the Hammond B-3 Organ. His band the Organ Soul Explosion plays wild arrangements
of current pop songs, jazz and classical music. Beside the "beast", Adam plays a
variety of vintage keyboards. He is a member of the legendary jazz rock band Blood,
Sweat & Tears. He leads two other groups: Sneak makes melodic, otherworldly pop
songs, while The Masters of Tashkent is his eight-piece Soul-Uzbek-HindustaniFunk orchestra.
Adam toured southeast Asia and the Pacific Rim and garnered touring and composing grants from Arts International and Meet the Composer to collaborate with local folk musicians abroad. His jazz piano quartet toured as a Jazz Ambassador in 2003, on a six-week tour of concerts and masterclasses in Russia, Central Asia, and the Caucasus. Adam has also appeared at such renowned venues as the Blue Note, Iridium, the Jazz Standard, Blues Alley, and the Knitting Factory, and at many prestigious international jazz festivals. from caltix.com and harlemjazzboxx.com |
