Artie Kane
Artie was born in 1929 in Columbus, OH. His interest in music began at about the age of 13.
Early studies included attendance at the famed Cincinatti Conservatory of Music. Unlike
many of his contemporaries, his early career included not one name big band. He spent most
of his pre-Hollywood days playing on staff radio or on the road with traveling shows. It
is with pride that he states his biggest credit from that period was being personal
accompanist for Sonja Henie.from the cover of the album "Artie Kane Plays Organ" |
