Jimmy Jackson
Jimmy, born in Pittsburgh, PA, is an American pianist and organist. He absolved his
military service in Germany, where he stayed. In 1969, he performed at the Holy Hill
Jazz Meeting in Heidelberg. A year later, he founded the trio Haboob, with which he
presented his first album in 1971. He was also original member of the band Embryo.
Jimmy played together with the Christian Burchard Big Band, Klaus Doldinger's Passport, and Amon Düül. He also participated in Tangerine's first album. In the 1980's, toured together with Maria Müller-Westernhagen. from Wikipedia |
