picture of Stanley Clarke
Stanley Clarke
Bassist Stanley Clarke first met Chick Corea in 1971, when he came to New York. It led to a cooperation with Corea's Return To Forever. Later, in 1974, Stanley released his first album as a leader, and won the sympathy of the jazz world with his fusion style bass play.

The organ is Stanley's "also"-instrument and seldom used, whereas the acoustic and electric bass are his favorite instruments.
