Charles Brown
Charles (* 1922 in Texas) was a highly influential blues and rhythm & blues singer and piano player.
He began his career as a singer and pianist in Johnny Moore's Three Blazers in the mid-1940s and
continued to make countless records, his last album for Verve being released in 1998.
He was inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame in 1999. Charles died in January 1999.
