Joseba Negro
Joseba (1983 in Bilbao), enjoyed a family of musicians, and his interest in piano and singing soon began. He is an interpreter of piano, Hammond organ and diatonic accordion, composer and arranger. He studied piano and classical music theory at the BilbaoMusika school and jazz piano with teachers like Geronimo Martín, Josu BilbaoMusika and jazz piano with teachers like Geronimo Martín, Josu Muñoa, Juan Ortiz, Arantzazu Saiz, Mikel Gaztelurrutia. He is self-taught in traditional and modern styles such as folk, blues, jazz, soul, ska, reggae, funk, etc. As a keyboardist he has been a participant for 5 years in groups like Akatz or Potato. He is the founder of the funk revival group Priscilla Band. As an accordionist in Folk & Fire and Bufo Kalamita, he offers street performances, educational concerts and entertainment.
 
As for teaching, he is in charge of managing Astrapalea Musika Eskola in Igorre, where he is also a diatonic accordion and piano teacher. Since 2004 he has taught diatonic accordion and piano classes in other schools in Euskal Herria.
