Wolfgang Dauner
Dauner made his mark as a composer and player of keyboards, trumpet and trombone. He started his musical career
in the 60's together with guys like Leo Wright and Attila Zoller. Later he founded the United Jazz & Rock
Ensemble of which he is still the leader. Among others Jean-Luc Ponty, Albert Mangelsdorff, Dino Saluzzi and
Charlie Mariano were his partners. His love for the organ seems to be less developped, but nevertheless
there are some titles (like "A Day In A Life" from the album "The Oimels") where Dauner shows his talent
as an organ player.
