Judy Blair
Judy, Texas born, lives in the south of France. Nearly for all her life, she has been
singing and playing the piano, synthesizer and the Hammond B-3 organ.She performed solo, and also with groups all over the USA, including a three year stint in New Orleans. Judy also performed during a two year period in the Caribbean, and she appeared on Japanese television in a travel series about California. Her way led her many times to Europe for jazz and blues concerts and festivals (such as Jazz en Auvergne/France, Jazz en Touraine/France and Swing At Monsegur/France. In 1999, Judy recorded her first album on the Hammond (and the piano). A second one, exclusively Hammond, appeared in 2000. Judy aspires to continue recording and performing at festivals and clubs, and spends part of her time writing and composing music. She is a member of the "Arts et Lettres de France". |
