Damien Argentieri
Damien trained in organ and piano in the disciplines classics and jazz from the Conservatoire de Lyon before settling in the region of Paris in 2000 to study at the Centre des Musiques Didier Lockwood where he studied notably with Benoît Sourisse and Emmanuel Bex.
Damien has participated in some thirty album recordings as sideman or co-leader. He performs in France and abroad alongside Lionel Loueke, Jean Jacques Milteau, Tony Rabeson, Pierre Perchaud, André Ceccarelli, Philippe Aerts, Donald Kontomanou, Christian Escoudé, Jean Luc Cappozzo, Romane, Michel Perez, Captain Mercier, Half Evans, to name a few. Alongside his activities as a stage musician, he holds the Diplôme d'État in Jazz piano and has taught since 2007 at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Versailles. |
